Thank you! Yes, MDUW mk2. One snippet of internal sampling used in this one.

Here’s my latest ambient track made 100% on the Model Cycles. I’ve put the project link in the video description.

new album out it’s called ā€œYes! Summer breakā€

I’m happy to recall some kind of ā€œstand by meā€ vibe but whatever, summer makes good.
Mixed and mastered by an oldie MacBook with GarageBand.
Gears: op-1f, phase8, tp-7, tx-6, Casio sk-1, uranograph, and zoom h6 with specific microphones.

testing the results of using the MC-303 as ā€˜intended/advertised’ - at least from what I remember about ā€˜back then’. Haven’t looked it up. So I programmed a baseline with the step input record mode, even with ā€œtieā€ and a simple drum pattern and then tweaked the knobs.

Filter-cutoff and resonance are self explanatory. From what I understand: not all of the other TB-303 sound shaping parameters exist or are accessible on the MC-303, I work with envelope. Accent I think has to be programmed and accent strength, idk. I step a little through the ā€œTBā€-tone-banks of the MC-303.

Anyhow - I was really positively surprised about the results. Not like in ā€œauthentic TR-606 + TB-303ā€ (for that, I miss/haven’t found sequencer length/max step number and the ability to set drums and bass to different such settings for polymetric etc.). BUT - as in ā€œauthenticā€ ā€œvintageā€ early 1990s digital groovebox summer outside goa something somebody is having fun with an MC-303 way  Yay.
