Current sounds coming from your gear (Part 3)

Finally got around to polishing up (I use that term loosely) a 3 year old live jam I did in my studio with only two hands, attempting to control 5 things.

I just sat down one evening and turned on the 303, and started from there. Simplicity was the name of the game.

Old school vibes because I’ve been in the game since '98. Hopefully the 12min length won’t scare folks away. Stick around for the pad because its epic!

If you would like the raw stems from this, for remixing, using in your projects, whatever… DM me!

Gear used:

  • Sub 37
  • Pro 3
  • 303
  • 909 kit (Ableton)
  • Some bongo kit (Ableton)
  • Hive 2

YT obviously will not sound as good as the raw render (96khz, 44khz, etc)

Thanks for listening! (or not!)

This is top tier amazing. I’d love to lay down some vocals for this using one of my own lyrics. With your permission obviously.

Actually playing keys live for a change. It’s been over 30 years since I did that.

I spent the day sitting on the couch yesterday with the MPC Live 2. “mixed” with the MPC speakers so do not judge :joy:

Reckon this might be my first entry on this thread.

Good stuff!

Had a session with my Tanzbär 2 before I’m selling it.
Feels bad to part ways but it’s needed.
I really love how it sounds and grooves.

Recorded straight into Deluge.
Added pads and some atmo from the Deluge, but otherwise just Tanzbär.

I think I should’ve added some sub as well, but didn’t feel like it.

Tried something different this time, a short jam where Syntakt meets Buchla. It turned into a quick, messy, fun experiment. If you’re into this kind of stuff, I’d love to hear your thoughts :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m not into this kind of stuff, but i like it.

I would like to know how to make this kind of music.

I’m trying to find a direction.
I’m drawn to trip hop and minimal stuff but I can’t stop sampling jazz and I’m addicted to boom bap drums. Help me.

Thanks for listening!
My advice: listen to what you love, try to recreate it, practice a lot, and don’t take yourself too seriously.

Oh and I listened to your track, I really enjoyed it

Listened a few times already.
This put me in a lovely melancholic mood. Perfectly fits the state of things right now.
