What’s your approach for using the emx? Are you using multiple patterns? Pattern chaining? I’d like to hear about your workflow. Banging stuff.
@Pulsar thanks.
It’s just one pattern. 2 bar loop.
That’s all I’m doing at the moment. Single patterns.
Workflow? I haven’t really got one. Twiddle knobs until it sounds good. Save, repeat. Press record on my tascam and jam it out.
That pattern is the best thing I’ve done so far with it by a long shot. Have tried getting something similar again but haven’t succeeded yet. Electribes are so much fun. So playable. Yeah my digitone is the better synth, but it isn’t fun. Its too clinical.

Bitwig Grid patch … did have some drums added at one point from battalion , but scrapped em and added a little bit of ‘percussion’ in the patch instead

MPE is fun.
It’s just a single Drift instance and a kick. I still should to get used to pads response, but that’s really a new dimension.
Are you using BAM to send midi to the boutiques? If so how? What kind of adapter?
different states of my simple loop (not the one from above
) put into 32 bars to get a feeling for their respective moods…
just out of curiosity:
which “state” do you like? just lowend and gritty texture, all the stuff, lead filter open/closed?
anti techno clap on 2 and 4?
nvm, done, was corrupted, so I had to delete it…fixed some artifacts and changed URL because I am not a smart man.
Morning fun with Pulsar-23, a distorted mess.
the oto bam and the boutiques receive midi via an rk-006 from retrokits in this audio snippet
