I gotta say that this thread is one of the most interesting places on the internet, the variety of sounds here is absurd. from brutal noise to melodic stuff. no one in the world could curate a playlist like this.

speaking of playlists…

Crisp high five if anyone can name the synth.

Recorded in one shot using only feature onboard.

(not trying to say this is good or anything, it sounds pretty trashy)

(it’s been long enough, its a Prophet 6)

My totally uninformed guess (since I have no direct experience with it) is Analog Rytm…?

Nah. Actual hardware. Not a drum machine either. No samples.

Prophet 6

A4 is actual hardware. And it is the ACB emulations on the TR-6S I am impressed with, not samples.

nice one!
Now i am curious, did you sample the intro sound or really created it with the Syntakt?
Because that totally sounds like the signature sound of my Syntakt if i unplug the USB connection while it is running a sequence - the sound of the frozen ST :nerd:

No, it’s the Syntakt. It’s a snare accident.

cool, now i finally know what the Syntakt is doing while frozen: it is constantly playing a snare :ecstatic:

Somehow I read the person above you’s unrelated mention of “Daw” and amalgamized it with your comment ha.

Hence my “Actual hardware” comment.
