Sometimes you have to watch that your scenes don’t overload the mix. And if your scenes edit the start/end point of samples that can result in some pops at certain points.

I have a few projects that have touchy scenes where I avoid certain spots in the fader. It’s just a matter of practice and figuring out what works together and what doesn’t.

Try the fader on one track at a time and see if there’s one that significantly increases in volume or introduces pops, then try to clean it up. Rinse, repeat.
