Greetings.

When I crossfade to a scene (one to which I have applied extra reverb/delay on one or more tracks, for example) and then back again, I get horribly loud glitches sound spikes… seemingly more so as the crossfader passes from the effected scene back to the unaffected one.

Any ideas on how to curb this unwelcome ‘effect’?

Yes i had the same problem. It was ableton live that glitched over all the midi cc In was sending it. Not the OT. Try disabling “track” in midi options. If you are using ableton.

Cheers for the tip fella:)
I’m not using it with ableton when this happens though. Hmmmm.

Sometimes you have to watch that your scenes don’t overload the mix. And if your scenes edit the start/end point of samples that can result in some pops at certain points.

I have a few projects that have touchy scenes where I avoid certain spots in the fader. It’s just a matter of practice and figuring out what works together and what doesn’t.

Try the fader on one track at a time and see if there’s one that significantly increases in volume or introduces pops, then try to clean it up. Rinse, repeat.

Excellent advice natrixgli:)
I’ll be doing some rinse repeating…
Many thanks!
