Creating an octatrack live rig

I run a stage tech rental company in Europe and I often get international and local electronic music artists’ tech riders to fulfill with mixers in them. Very common. Of course they re not highly exotic mixers. Usually 8, 12 or 16 chan analog mixers, and Pioneer/A&H/Rane DJ mixers.

That makes sense.

Any other weird or esoteric stuff people have asked for? For a while I heard Octatracks were coming up on riders, see much of that these days?

Usually it s bands requesting giganormous riders and vintage exotic mics, and usually happy with more common alternatives after all.

I haven t seen octatracks on riders, but then i dont cater that much to dance/techno events. Maybe it happens. I m in The Netherlands where a ton of festivals are happening hence lots of gear can be found for rent, including advanced stuff like Urei and Model1 DJ mixers and vintage backlines (also 909, 808 and other synths).
