Couple of questions for a new Elektronaut! (AR/A4)

Hi y’all!
Over the last few weeks i purchased both the AR and A4 (very proud to join the ranks). I feel the learning curve is not as steep as i’ve heard, at least for me, i have 10+ years experience with synths/studios/blahblahblah. The only thing giving me a problem is the Data Structure. Can someone please explain this in a simple way I can wrap my head around. It’s not the machines fault, i always have issues with this sort of thing.

I’d like to have a “folder” for the following.

  • Works Folder - For writing, testing, making sounds etc. A safe place where i can lose stuff and make mistakes…
  • Live Folder - A place to put together & store 8-12 tracks for playing live techno sets.
  • Studio Folder - Using the AR/A4 in my studio e.g - writing tracks to be mixed in a DAW.
    Where’s the best place to have these? Should I have 1 “Project” for each or use 3 “Global Slots” in a single “Project” for each? Or some other way?

Also, I’d like to have sort of Initiate/Blank slate type thing. Should this be a blank “Project”?

Global slots are just for global settings, say different MIDI setups etc

Set up a project how you like it, with some globals that suit you, maybe some often used sounds/samples. Save this as your Init project then write protect it. This is your project base, load then save it to a new project slot for each project you make in the future.

Further than that I think it would be best to make individual projects for your different tasks.
