Thought it might be interesting to share - I broke a lamp on my gear desk and some shards ended up on my Digitone, leaving scars on the faceplate and some buttons. Being OCD, decided to send it to Sweden for a face-job.

Got a quick answer from the support Digitone faceplate costs 40 eur incl. VAT, 2 euro per button cap and the job is 50.

Expensive for few scratches, yes, but then I can sleep again at night:)

Cheers

Just plaster a sticker on top

That’s honestly not too expensive IMO, had no idea they even offered this service! Got any pics of how bad it was before?

Small ones but just enough to scratch the coating and get the steel visible beneath. Also noticeable when touching.

Not that type - no stickers or tattoos for me:))

Just wanted to share with everyone how this developed - a week later I got my Digitone back via UPS, like new and with a note inside saying “Good will repair”. A day later, when asked what the estimate will be, I received an empty invoice and the answer that the repair will be free of charge.

This is SO nice of them - yes my DN was in warranty but the damage was done by me and at the end they saved me at least 100 EUR for the parts+repair as well as the postage back!

Big thank you Patrik and Christian and everyone from Elektron!
