Corrupted track in only one bank?

Hi all,

I had a browse to see if I could find an answer to this with no luck, though it is a weird one to describe. EDIT: this is on an Octa mk2

I have a project ready to go for a show in a couple weeks, and as I was running through it, I notice one of the samples had gone very glitchy, sounding very garbled. I put the Octa into USB mode and tried reloading the sample with a new name, deleting the old one. I tried loading it into the same static sample slot when I saw ERROR, but it’s doing the same thing. In fact, when I hold Func/Yes, all samples I preview sound this way. But when I switch to another track, everything sounds fine (including the sample I replaced). Also, when I switch to a new bank, the issue with the track goes away!

When I try to set up a sample trig on the track in question, the rate knob will “control” the garbled sound, if that helps.

I have tried changing the machine, only to have the same result. Any ideas what may be happening? Hopefully I was able to explain the issue alright.

Thanks in advance!
