Copying trigs from one pattern to another

Hi-- I am trying to copy a trig from one pattern in a project to another. I think I’m following directions properly per the manual, but it’s not working –

  1. go to grid/record mode
  2. hold trig button
  3. press record (copy) button
    –
  4. go out of grid/record mode
  5. select a different pattern
  6. go to grid/record mode
  7. hold trig button
  8. press stop (play)

However this isn’t working for me.

Try not leaving grid record mode.

Figured out my (newbie) issue… I thought copying a trig would also copy the filter, amp, and LFO settings. Nope. Once I copied the filter page over I achieved the desired result. Is there a way to copy everything about a trig from one pattern to another in one fell swoop?

You did copy everything about the Trig. The Trig only stores its state and Parameter Locks, it doesn’t have any information about pages / parameters that are not locked. You would need to copy the pages or entire track.

You may want the copy sound function I believe. It’s trac+track button (1-8)+copy.

you can make a saved sound out of the track and then just grab it from the sound browser/pool. That way you get all the changes you have made. You will still have to copy the trigs if you want them.
