Copying/pasting measures

Can I copy say measure 1:4 and paste it to another measure all at once? I’d like to avoid having to paste each trig from 1:4 individually.

You can copy a page (i.e. all 16 steps) if that’s what you’re getting at?

In grid recording mode, select the page to copy, and then hold down the pattern / page button and hit RECORD (copy). Then move to the page you want to paste to and hold down the pattern / page button and hit STOP (paste). Is that what you’re looking for?

but now i’m not so sure if that’s what you’re asking

as dataline says in that thread "You can copy n paste 16 steps with SCALE+REC n STOP "

but this only works per track so not sure if it’s even possible to do the entire measure of all 8 (or 16) tracks, etc.

i do this all the time though per track. it most definitely carries over p-locks

It should be copying the whole page of trigs and the plocks.

The thing to keep in mind is that you have to switch to the the page and then do the copy, you can’t just hold page and copy…so to copy page two to page 3 for example…

press page until you are on page 2, then hold page down and and press REC, you have to be in grid recording mode…then you hit page to take you to page 3, then hold page and press STOP

so basically, it’s a press to the page then a hold on that page while hitting REC/STOP…you should also see the message on the screen that says the page is copied and pasted
