Copying and pasting amended patterns

Hi guys, quick question:
So I have a chain which is 4 x pattern A01. In the first instance of A01, I programme it so voices 3 and 4 are muted. The other 3 have all four voices sounding. Now, if I wanted to copy and paste the A01 which only has 2 voices sounding, can I do this? Or do I have to just copy A01 and manually mute the voices for each version of the pattern in the chain? TIA!!

and i guess the same question is valid for any adaptation of a pattern, eg if you have a parameter lock on one version and not on another
