Copy contents of old CF card to newer, bigger card?

Wondering if anyone knows best practices for getting the contents of my old CF card, onto a new and bigger CF card?

I tried just copying the contents, but my octatrack freaks out when the new card is inserted. Anything I have to do first?

have you formatted the new card for the octatrack.the best way is to send everything from your old card to your computer then send it to the new card

You didn’t specify the nature of the freak out, or what steps you already took, so I would recommend copying the contents of the old card to your computer first, then formatting the new card in the OT, and creating and mounting a set before copying any files across.
