Cool idea for the performance macros

The trig buttons storing macro values as snapshots would be immense!

Anyone ever hear any more on the scenes/refined performance macro workflow on AK/A4? Sounds like elektron were definitely planning something in this area from that email reply mentioned, but this threads quite old so Iā€™m ondering if they already tweaked things before I (recently) grabbed AK and itā€™s already a part of the OS as is?

I always do it pretty similarā€¦ any time you have performance macros or knob settings etc, to program it really helps to maintain a system of organization so you dont have to try to remember a specific setup for a specific track
i always assign 2 knobs per track (vertically), then the last 2 knobs for master fx/big changes/whatever
so you always know the first two will hit track 1, second row hits track 2, etc.
you may not know exactly what happens to those tracks (thats something i program specifically per kit), but at least you know what will be affected
but yeh, setting them up could definitely be easier / benefit from some alternate methods

Well as I was reading this ā€œi wish you could assign parameters with eprf mode like on the ARā€ and it seems they are in that mindset as well. If your in perf mode or scene mode on AR, you can still see the normal menu, but with a side screen on the left showing you what perf slot your in, and you can make locks that way. This would make the perf mode on the a4 baller as fuck

Second (or quadrupled or whatever we are at by now).

When I first heard about the feature I thought it would be a lot like the fader on the OT.

Hold perf button, wiggle whatever params you want to where you want them at the max turn of the knob.

Iā€™d give up all 9 of my extra perf knobs to have the single dedicated perf knob function like this.

Would be super friken fun on the fly.
