Cookbook

Hi guys
long time lurker - first time poster here

just wondering if there is another option for obtaining the analog four / keys cookbook for those of us that don’t own apple devices

also
just want to take this opportunity to say this community is excellent

i found my way here after purchasing an octatrack a while back
and the amount of knowledge and resources being shared here is awesome

thanks for everything,
travis

There’s a cookbook? googling now!

It doesn’t really live up to its name- it’s more just a version of the manual…

i see

so this isn’t something like
welsh’s synthesizer cookbook
but just a reworking of the manual?

at any rate my keys came in this week
and i’m loving it so far
reading the manual and trying to get aquainted with everything
and then it’s on to making some patches

i’m curious if anyone here can suggest some good books for sound design that would translate well with this machine

welsh’s book seems like a good one
but can anyone suggest any others

It’s not really a cookbook, like Zymos said its a manual.

A pretty well put together manual with pictures and all the basic features of the synth explained, but it is not a recipe for synth sounds.

To be honest, you’re better off downloading the packs available and just deconstructing the patches in order to understand how to make those sounds.

Not a book but it seems like a good website to read. http://synthesizeracademy.com
