Convert Samples to 16/48 before transfering to DT2?

Is it best to convert my samples to 16bit 48KHz before transferring?

I know Transfer will convert them if not, but Transfer is slow and I don’t want to make it even slower.

What is best practise?

It’s not going to make the transfer experience noticeably faster or slower.
