does any one how?
whats the midi channel for roland? whats if after the sh01 i wanna connect another synth midi, does the midi out of the sh works as midi thru so i can keep on chaining??
You can set the MIDI channel number to be whatever you want in the SH-01A’s System menu.
As far as I know, the MIDI Out port cannot be used as a MIDI Thru port.
I believe it’s called a soft thru, but you can definitely chain other midi devices off the boutique midi outputs.

on the sh-01a you press the menu button access all the menu options. OK here- press menu button, then the buttons under it will flash, hit number four and use the encoder to scroll to CH, which is midi channel.

pretty much the same a thru.
These guys are very patient and will help you out but you’ve got to go and do some Google searches and read up about how this stuff works or you will just be asking question after question every step of the way. Trust me it will be easier for you if you use your curiosity to learn
