Controlling Logic from OT

Hey gang!

I know this will get moved, or flagged, and I’m sorry, but the only posts I saw were old, so here I am, and I’m sure I’m gonna be scolded, but here goes…

Can I control logic, play and start from the OT?. I have a Motu Micro Exrpess, Logic will control the OT I have Tranp and clock set to send, but I think it’s a weird Logic thing, so is anyone doing this with the lates logic 10.4.6 ( where they changed the midi preferences?)

Not as far as I know. This doesn’t seem to have changed recently. Previous discussion:

My guess is whatever the OT is sending Logic Can’t read. It seems in the latest version of Logic they have narrowed down what it sends and receives. This is an uneducated guess, but my gut tells me it would either work or not. I can get Logic to control the OT, just not the other way around, which makes tracking and playback a little annoying.
