Control transport of Analog Four from Ableton?

Hello.
I’m preparing a long live set with my A4 connected to Ableton via Overbridge.
But some of the tracks i don’t want the A4 to play at all.
I would like to control the transport on/off of my analogue four using clips in Ableton.
I don’t want to manually stop transport because i can mess with the synch if i don’t restart it straight on
Is that possible?

Have you considered just using mutes? To clarify, sending cc 94 to mute instead of trying to stop the transport.

I haven’t. And that’s actually a great idea! CC94 will mute all 4 channels?
