Control Roland TR-808 with din out from A4?

Hello Has anyone tried to sync the analog four mk2 with a roland TR-808 via the out/thru DIN port function? Or is an adapter like the ones from Kenton needed?

Assuming it should work with a five pin din cable. The output is capable of din sync, so no adapter should ne needed.

Indeed ! Not a ‘Midi’ cable which uses the same standard plug i/o

Not the usual ones for midi which use the central three pins of the five pin DIN plug, DIN Sync utilises every other pin as shown here for info
