"Conserve" Pickup Machine Contents

Hey Elektronauts!

Finally (and after almost half a year without having touched the OT), I managed my first pickup machine recordings - but: after switching off and on the OT, everything was gone from the recording buffers.

I tried out to switch from PU to Flex and to assign a trig to the corresponding recording buffer but the problem persists.

My question:
Is there a way to conserve PU machine contents?

I personally like having the option to record “sequentially” piano lines in the overdub mode - that’s why I choose them - but maybe I intended to use them “wrong”.

Thanks for your comments and help!

Cheers

this is probably the answer to what you’re looking for Saving Pickup Machine Samples or this Effing pickup machines! or the manual :stuck_out_tongue:

For future reference, record buffers are never saved unless you explicitly save them, since pickup machines use the record buffers the same applies, I assume when you changed the track machine to flex it was still pointing to the record buffer that the PU was using.
