Hi,
The DFAM has a single 1/4 inch TS out and my DB4 has RCA ins. 2 ins though. How should I connect this up successfully?

well, this may seem obvious and clearly i am missing the real question here, but:
I have a similar setup and simply bought a cable 1/4 mono to rca pair.
(a 303 going into a DB4 as well)
Superstar.
I was thinking that may be the case but I thought that I may need something more insulated?
I have 20 different audio cables and all of them are thick and beautifully insulated; when looking on line and finding something like your photo, I thought it may not be “well built” enough?

guess it depends on what you’re doing with your gear… the gear that stays at home all the time doesn’t really need a “well built” cable i guess…
stuff that’s coming with me is another story, but i guess since those cables aren’t too expensive, you could just buy 2 or 3 of them and change if necessary 
have a good one!
Yeah that makes sense.
I sample from the DFAM into my Octatrack anyway; I just wanted to do it via the DB4 to take advantage of the effects in the mixer.

Are you guys digging using a dj mixer for effects and such. I’ve been debating getting the db2. Just looking for some opinions and or other options
The DB4 is so versatile; the effects are so good that they are easily mixed into what I’m doing for production.
For performance, they are so immediate they add loads to what you are delivering. I’m well happy with mine.

i really dig it…
i match the bpm to my set (playing with MD, DT, A4) and all the effects are perfectly synced.
i’d spend the extra bucks on the DB4, it has a dedicated effects engine and a looper per channel, eq-modes can be set per channel, too.
built to last and looks just awesome when all the lights are blinking
