Connecting external midi gear with Digitone

Hello,

I want to buy a Digitone. Precondition for this decision is also to get a setup that controls the DN and also other midi synth with my AK via Midi. So in my specific case: AK to be used to a) play my Korg Radias through the Digitone and to b) record Midi tracks with the AK triggering the Radias.

Not rocket sience as I had this simple setup with my old MPC 500 between AK and Radias without any issues, but I am not sure whether Digitone can do this after I reviewed some discussions here.

As far as I can see, all you need is two MIDI cables and some care in setting MIDI channels and you will be able to do exactly what you describe.

Perfect!
I assume that the midi issues which have been discussed here seem to be solved then in the meantime with new OS releases.
So close now to get my 3rd Elektron family member. Hurra.
