Connect Syntakt to Ableton with each channel separate and be able to use all the effects included (routing, tracks + effects)

Hi, could you help me with this problem? I have an E Syntakt connected to Ableton via overbridge (12 separate channels (audio) + 2 other audio for fx and delay reverb and up to here everything is fine, but the problem arises when I go to master (routing, tracks + effects) for example if I assign routing, tracks + effects on channel 5 where I have the hi-hats and I use the filter and I want to use 1 (low-pass filter) to cut the sound on channel 5, the sound of channel 5 is not cut, it remains the same as if I had done nothing, could you tell me how to set up on Ableton to be able to use (routing, tracks + effects) or even better if you can tell me how to best set up Syntakt to Ableton via overbridge, 12 separate channels (audio) + fx for each single channel and above all (routing, tracks + effects) analog fx block to fully exploit all the potential that Syntakt offers, thanks to anyone who would like to help me

It’s not exactly clear to me what you mean but the short answer (I think) is that all send fx and the analog fx track are only available on the master track through Overbridge.

Also tracks 1-12 are always sent to their Overbridge output regardless of their internal routing (page 73 of the manual) so you would have to mute them in your DAW if you only want to hear a track the through the FX track.

Hope that helps.

Hi, what I want to say is that I would like to use all the potential of Syntakt that it has (played normally alone) but with the difference that all the channels (separate) (audio) + (routing, tracks + effects) (+ fx) are connected to Ableton via overbridge and that everything works as when the Syntakt is played alone, could you tell me how to set it up in the best possible way on Ableton I have problems with (routing, tracks + effects) thanks

Individual tracks will always be dry in OB, so anything applied through the send/master effects will only appear in the end-of-chain OB tracks.

Start the standalone Syntakt app and click on the tape icon at the top
You’ll see the separate streams from the device

Fx like delay are ‘send’ fx , there is only one delay block / reverb block etc … to send individual channels and their unique fx there would need to be 12 effects blocks of each type

If you want to capture channel 1 with its own fx you’ll need to mute the other channels when you capture .
It’s like this on all overbridge devices … it’s not overbridge , it’s the architecture of each device eg digitakt 1 has 8 mono outs , fx outs , main out .

Load up any standalone overbridge app for any device and you’ll see it all if you click the tape icon .

Thanks for the advice and how Syntakt works especially to re5et who went into detail on standalone overbridge thanks!!

i always recommend looking at the app. it simplifies everything before getting complicated with a Daw and all that routing stuff.

also - most overbridge advice you see for digitakt/digitone/syntakt/digitone2/digitakt2/rytm/a4 etc etc etc is usually relevant for all devices.
