I got the Druma kit of drums and attempted to load it on my A4. Goal is put those 128 sounds on sound bank C, which is currently empty.
But I see you load into a sound pool? I was hoping to set a sound bank / number destination.
I’m sorry if this is super noob, but can anyone direct to me on what to do after sounds are put in the sound pool?
I’m new to the a4 too and dont have it in front of me but this is what I remember from doing this a couple days ago:
On the a4 Go to global > Sysex dump > sysex receive > and from there select sound bank C from the +drive list
In c6 just make sure the file is highlighted and you’ve selected the a4 as midi in and out
Once on the a4 you might need to hit the left arrow in the sound select menu to toggle viewing the +drive instead of the pool.
I had this problem with c6 sending the sounds succesfully but the a4 not receiving them and sitting on the “writing sounds” dialog. Had usb + midi recieve selected initially but when I tried usb only that seemed to do the trick after a few more tries
