I used to have an Overstayer Stereo FET Compressor, which was fantastic for the price. Initially I wanted to replace it with an Elysia Xpressor, but I am now interested in a TK Audio BC1-s (keeping the rig Swedish).

All of these are pretty versatile.

I have the overstayer vca with the sidechain option. The behaviour and grab - the hi/lo filters.
If you have a 500’series rack - tonelux txc, the eylasia ot the pico are great options
