While using Overbridge (with master outs only) I usually seem to be looking for more volume when I start making a kit on the RYTM, I’m generally using a combo of boosting the resonance on the kicks, adding a touch of overdrive on many parts and adding a kiss of global distortion.

I’ve been wondering why the compressor gain defaults to 50 on the fx page. There’s a ton of gain to be had there. Do any of you start your kits by boosting that regardless of if you bring the threshold down, which I do a bit sometimes. Just seems like the gain staging is all over the place on the compressor page.
