I started playing about with track 8 as the master track and using the compressor on it. Now I dont know loads about compressors and realise it is a vast subject. Can anyone shed any light on the settlings which might help in ‘gelling’ the sounds together?

Compression is easy to learn, harder to apply in a good way. Practice, experiment, don;t listen to anybody’s advice or copy techniques, discover new things, take control of track 8 and become a master yourself.
