My partner is a writer - and in her world there are endless competitions to enter. Short stories, long stories, novels, extracts, ideas genre specific, big ones for prizes, little ones for inspiration. It’s a good motivation to keep writing (admittedly she does well in them) and a nice feedback loop…
I thought it might be good to create a thread where people can share anything they might know of that is similar for music. I know there are a few challenges bouncing around, and a category on here, but I wonder if there’s a whole untapped world of competitions and very popular challenges I don’t know about.
I thought it might be good to collect together some of the ones that are regular or well regarded as a resource. This might turn into some kind of mega-thread resource if there is enough of it out there…
