Who’s got their studio in a cupboard?
We’ve moved into a new place and I’m looking to grab a space I can call my own.
I’m thinking about perhaps using a shallow cupboard (called an ‘Edinburgh Press’) with a fold-up desk within it. Likely have Push, Digitakt and other bits and bobs velcro’d onto the desk top.
Would like a space I can leave all hooked up and just go to and play.
Alternatively, buy a bureau or similar kind of desk.
Or go the ‘Tuesday Night Machines’ IKEA PAX hack route.
My current gear would all fit nicely, and with a toddler and a new baby I don’t think I’ll be buying any new gear any time soon.
Current gear is Laptop, Push 2, iConnectAudio, Digitakt, Faderfox PC12 and a few other bits and bobs.
Would be really interested to see what other people have done in compact / fold-out spaces.
