hoping its new drum engines for the Rytm or Digitakt. The Drum machine space is already quite crowded so I dont see why they need to make another one. FM based drum synthesis for the RYTM would be so wicked
Some of the current machines have (analog) FM.
I think 1/4th of the views of their teaser was by me watching futilely trying to find whatever clues I could get from the sound and the video.
The fact the [item] is not black completely annihilated any guesses I could make on it.
At this point, I’m either like:
- it’s either fairly large or fairly small.
- it either has a keyboard or it doesn’t
- it may or may not have a sequencer.

There is no uTonic in hardware thats not Pocket sized …
It could be a multitracker or an FX unit Like the Heat, Just with Delay Reverb Filter and Granular FX.

I think the FX are a significant part of the unit. But, supposedly, the entire video track should be able to be performed on just the XX and nothing else.
Remember the “Before Long” teaser for Heat?

If we’re talking about an Elektron product, probably Cenk is already tested/used it. He was in modular fx lately.
