If you google watchcartoononline you should be able to find it…
I’ve only seen the anime but I thought this was good. Interesting story. The anime has Madhouse production.
Thanks for the tip!
Interesting, i didn’t know there was an anime. There’s even a movie.
And yes, the story is nice… the drawings are old school, but I kind of like them.
I picked up a Little Bird paperback on a whim, based on the cover and a quick flip through. Great stuff.
Great new manga by Mathieu Bablet (Carbone & Silicium) and Guillaume Singelin (Frontier), but I think it only exists in French at the moment.
A few days ago, I read the comic adaptation of Lord of the Flies by Aimée de Jongh.
Today, I started reading a sci-fi manga called Leviathan without knowing much about the story.
Now I suspect the universe is trying to send me a message — and it’s not a pleasant one.
Oh man I LOVED Descender{/Ascender)!
Just finished this one: Idèal by Baptiste Chaubard and Thomas Hayman. Emotional and thought-provoking story blending old and new conflicts, such as an aging couple and the frontiers of technology, with a jaw dropping background where architecture is a silent character.
Great, looking forward to both! (D and A)
I just finished reading Leviathan, and I really liked it. I should have been able to guess what the story was about from the title.
The author, Shiro Kuroi, makes some noteworthy references. I’m sorry, it’s in Portuguese because it’s a Brazilian edition, but he mentions Miyazaki, Mœbius (and Incal), Nicolas de Crécy, Enki Bilal, François Schuiten (and The Obscure Cities), and Sergio Toppi.
I got it this evening and really enjoyed it, thank you!
I bought it in Rennes last December of all places!
