Codex sound pack - only 127 sounds?

This is nitpicking a bit, but I loaded the Codex sound pack to my AK, and it only loads 127 sounds. Advertised as 128.

I have the Movement sound pack as well, and it loads 128 sounds, so I don’t think I’m doing anything wrong. I tried loading to multiple banks, downloaded the file again from Elektron, and even formatted my +Drive, but same thing.

Anyone else have this problem? Or are there only 127 sounds?

I’ve no idea, but if you load the sysex in C6 it will show (a count) what is in the file

Interesting - it shows 128 sounds. I cleared and closed C6 just to make sure, reloaded the sysex file, and it shows 128 sounds.

I did a hardware test from the early menu and everything tests fine, so I don’t think I have a memory issue with my AK.

I was able to get all 128 sounds loaded. Instead of using a direct USB connection, I used my MOTU MTP. The MOTU is hooked up to my PC via USB, and I connected my Analog Keys to the MOTU via MIDI DIN and used c6 to push the file. A little slower, but it worked.

Hmm, you really shouldn’t need to have done that, might be worth flagging up to support

If I were you i’d maybe export all of your sound pool to a sysex and try to replicate, it may be an issue with the original file
