I have always longed that they might be able to repurpose the Thru Port which currently supports DIN-sync - if not to just divide down from 24/48 per quarter note to 4, but to go even more radical and allow a machine to fire out the DIN port a 5v pulse, sacrifice a track to get a ‘proper’ strength DC signal out - they could even use the dongle from their model cycles midi port to get a euro friendly output - assuming hot is Tip
It’s the one thing i find missing from the AR (and others) - yes A4 has your back, but, it uses a precious lane, whereas i bet many people have a Thru port left idle
we can dream, but it would be very unlikely, unfortunately … Elektron are more conservative than people seem to imagine (plus there may be a flaw, besides user’ confusion) - but no reason to limit it to 24/48 pulses per quarter note
