I do think that you’re right about this. Pretty sure that, unlike most everyone else, Korg uses both the rise and fall stage of the duty cycle of a pulse wave to advance their sequencers (probably going back to the Sync48 days). Hadn’t tried an LFO out to mimic this yet, though. Good idea. Might even be able to yield a bit of swing by adjusting the pulse width…
That’s why I love the A4 so much: there’s usually a few ways to do nearly anything you’re trying to do.
