Clicking sound when using Chord machine

Hi, I was trying to create longer chords that are then randomly shorten because of the next note, so I created 16 step long pattern, where all the trigs are active. Then at track level, I increased the trig length, and reduced the probability to 50% It works but there are these annoying clicks at the end (?) of each step. I tied to adjust amplitude envelope and reduce/increase attack and delay. but no, clicks are still there.

My understanding of Syntakt and its workflow is still fairly basic, so I’m probably doing something wrong. How do I get rid of those clicks?

Is there a setting to disable retriggering of the amp envelope (for a legato effect)?

I don’t own a Syntakt, but I assume each successive chord is cutting off the previous one. Clicks generally arise from sudden changes in amplitude.

Yup. On ‘AMP’ page 2 there’s a toggle: ‘AENR’.

Thanks for the suggestion, but didn’t help

Clicks at oscillator reset are a problem for all synths when notes overlap. The waveforms resetting midway through a wave cause this.

You can add small gaps between the notes or turn on legato mode with the note lengths extended further (turning on filter envelope trig (FLT T) on the trig page if desired).
