Clear Track

Is it possible to quickly clear the parameters of a track? For example, if you work a sample on Track 5, resample that to Track 6, and then want to load a new sample onto Track 5 it retains all of the existing parameters. Is there a way to quickly clear (such as on the Analog Four)?

Hold your desired parameter page (playback, amp, etc.) and press clear.

I did not know you could do that I am now a very happy little camper

Is there a quicker way? One that would reset all parameters (and unload the sample?) A reset to default kinda thing.

My idea is to select a other Machine typ for the track. Does this work?

Sounds great - thanks for suggesting it - but it doesn’t work as expected…

The OT seems to retain the settings for each type of machine that has been assigned to a track. Also - it doesn’t remove the trigs.

Say you have a Static machine with a sample loaded and some settings made to the Playback params. You switch to Flex and make some different settings. Now, when you switch between Static and Flex on that Track, the settings are recalled.

I can imagine some scenarios where this would be quite useful. Shame about the trigs though.

How about copying ‘empty’ track from other Part/Pattern in case you don’t have any empty track in your current Part/Pattern? Didn’t try it my self yet, just an idea.

Yes, that’s what I do. Too many key presses though - there really should be a key combo to fully reset a Track.

I would also really like to see a menu option to reset the entire Project. Currently, you have to “Create Empty Project” and give it a unique name. I end up with dozens of useless projects in my set that have to be purged. Why can’t I clear the Project and start again with the same Project Name?!

You can clear the track trigs by entering record mode and and then FUNCTION + PLAY.
