Clear sample in slot without deleting from project

For questions of organization for a live, I need to rearrange my static sample slot list.
I want to clear some samples in the slot list (and move them to another position) leaving the slot clear. When I ask to clear it, I get a message saying delete sample from Project?
I don’t want to delete from Project, just delete from that list position number.

Seems like this should be possible? Looked in the manual, can’t find anything.
Any help would be appreciated)

You can copy / paste, clear after, or clear, load elsewhere.
You’ll have to reassign samples.

That’s a job for @rusty’s OCTAEDIT!
