Jeezus…or anybody related…Is anyone aware of why the chromatic mode will not play?
Naturally I have pressed the FUNC and TRK buttons to activate it.
However, instead of having four octaves to play with, the root note is spread across all keys…how boring is that?
Got a gig tomorrow, and of course the Digitakt is the centre piece of my set!

Try creating a new empty track and assign a factory sample then activate chromatic mode - still happen?
You’re probably playing past the samples range either on the keyboard or with tune

Tried the empty track thing / assigning sample as suggested, and it still happens.
Ryan, “the samples range…” I don’t follow.
Everything was fine yesterday…
Today actually was the first time it froze upon switching on…dunno
If you’re playing past the 4 octave range it just plays the highest/lowest value- the tune parameter affects the note range
Yep! Ran into this once and was baffled for a while before realising tune influences the octave range
