I took the laziest route and just sampled the first youtube hit when googled Jingle Bells and did something that Iām not proud of. Enjoy!
Some times itās good to be lazy!
need a few more ornaments for the
Just finished recording (all live, no overdubs, about 370 takes).
Just a bit of limiting and compression, some auditioning in the car, a bit of last minute tweaking and itāll be ready.
Itās a bit shorter than I would have liked, but a nasty dose of shingles earlier in the month limited my time (as well as two jobs and a nine month old) so youāre only getting 2:30 out of me.
Done.
Well, thereās a fumbled transition at 1:40ish but I canāt be bothered to record it again.
Just to be clear, this is very NSFW.
IāLL SAY IT AGAINā¦NOT SAFE FOR WORK.
Merry Christmas you filthy animals.
Fin you legend! this put me in the Christmas spirit rightly, the snowman has been called and the tequila is out!
ok, I made this a few years ago, but Iāll share just for fun:
All OP-1:
Sounds like itās based on a Rotterdam style first executed in the early 90s
That was the intention. Iād like to think if I was 20 years older Iād have been famous (at least in the Netherlands).
hahaha funny reminds me of that thunderdome christmas cd
That was my first and only Christmas themed cd purchase.
love the reharms and the 8bit sounds, this is right down my alley!
Just finished mine. Need to practice performing it (which is tricky) and record it. Will be done tomorrow!
Dedicated to my wife who left me a few weeks ago.
The song is not finished, like our relation.
Octatrack + QY100 + H4N, no daw.
I hope Iāll found energy to mangle this shit with OT one dayā¦for now, not sure I can do better tomorrow.
Best wishes for a loving, peaceful resolution
Bloody brilliant track man!
Hope tingsāll work out for you and Christmas not sucking to bad.
this is very, very good and powerfully honest music - sad and chilling, a strong sense of longing and hope for happier times, but with a bittersweet sense of acceptance, the pitch shift echo at the end gives me a sensation of trying and failing to rewind a situation back to its beginnings
has a bit of ānightmare before christmasā aesthetic/vibe, but itās simultaneously brighter, darker, and more human - there are a lot of contrasts in this piece that work together in very strong and interesting ways
Iāll see all your clever musical stuff and raise you some noise:
Sorry, you all. I wonāt be able to get my track in by the deadline. Iāll try to get in in on the 26th or 27th (sometimes life just gets in the way). I donāt expect any votes, but some comments would be nice.
Merry Christmas!
