Choose two of three boxes

Every Thursday I chuck my OT and tetra in my bag and take it to work. I’m a music teacher but on Thursday this year I have no classes all day. I am basically just in the office twiddling my thumbs. So thursday has become music day. Problem is now I have 3 elektron boxes and I can’t fit them all in one bag (hardly a problem I know… but this is the general forum after all).

So what would you take for a solid day of fun?

You can choose from A4, OT and MnM. Pick two leave on at home. Tell us why?

MnM + OT & sample some A4 stuff into the OT.

Why: These two have the biggest sonic diversity by a long run.
You could take the MnM on even weeks and the A4 on odd weeks.

I would always take the OT with me though.

Cross the river with the octatrack and the MonoMachine
Then take the octatrack back on the boat with you when you go back to the other side !! (this step is critical)
then on your second journey over the river you can take the octatrack and the tetra.

It’s a variation on the chicken, egg and fox dilemma right ?

that would be an hard choice for me…all three together you said is not doable right ?!
i would probably go with the OT and MnM making sure i sample some A4 before leaving the house even though OT and A4 make it for a good match … mmm… that’s a tough one… would be great if one could shrink them all

I’ll buck the trend: MnM & A4 - get some nice patterns going with BBox drums, MnM chords/pads, A4 bass/lead, then bring it home to the OT for some mangling!

MnM and OT (because I’m considering the MnM now, even if the A4 has dem fx).

And no being all “lol, sample the one I don’t take!” Yes, the OT is a sampler, but to me that defeats the purpose of an exercise asking this question

I love digital synths and the MnM is one of the best. I could sequence it’s 6 tracks via the OT, sample the output, rinse, repeat…
