Dumb question but I can’t find how to do it on the Digitakt, any advice?

I actually like this method better than “choke groups” or other other fixed relationships between “special” tracks that other machines have. This means my “choking” can now be totally arbitrary where and when I want it - and between any sounds at all.

I’ve always known this feature to be called choking. For example if you had a HH open then played the HH closed it would stop the HH open. Does anyone know how to do this with a digitakt?
away from takt at the moment but my initial guess is to use lock trigs that drop volume to zero set to the neighbor trig condition where the neighbor track is the one you want choking the hi hats
Just put the open hat and the closed hat on the same track.

This is the closest you’ll get to choke groups.
Open and closed hats on same track, one sample chokes the other. Good for kicks on the same track too, one sustained, the other one slaps it shut

Sorry to bring back this thread, but how does one put two samples on the same track? Or at least where do I find that in the manual?
