Chase Bliss effects pedals

Looks like a great pedal. I always wanted a brothers, but I dont play enough guitar atm to justify it. My favorite Chase Bliss pedals are their analog ones, they just always sound great and have a bunch of cool stuff.

Never used a KOT or whatever. Heard it on the tube. Thought, ooh nice. So,
Yeh sounds great. Fun to tweak and make awful tones in between getting really nice surprising tones. Probably the first pedal I’ve bought in 30 years that I’ve thought, yeah, can’t wait to get together with my mates and jam like bill n ted.

Only used on guitar. Don’t intend to synth it, but manual reads that you can set the presence to give it more range, for synth.

Edit. Awesome chair from Ikea. Orange.

I’ve been wanting the green version of that chair… I’ll have to wait for a chase bliss pedal that matches it though

Banger, enjoy!

God now im thinking about getting a Clean.

is presence a bass freq control? Could you try it with an electric bass sometime?

If it’s anything like OG, youā€˜ll lose a lot of bass. Probably easiest to ask CBA directly via Mail or Instagram, they have very good support!

Mind sharing that one over here?

They’ve just announced that Brothers AM is their most successful launch ever btw! Happy this is working well for them and they managed to escape the whole tariff desaster. Watched that documentary on the Analog Man collab and it’s really nice seeing how these folks are kindred spirits and Joel is happy like a little child.

I’m no it a guitar guy so this pedal isn’t really for me, but I’m sure you could do really nice things running a drum machine or 101 through it.

Man there are people trying to flip the Brothers AM where I live…there is one listed for 1300 CAD on Facebook marketplace.

A. I don’t know what they’re thinking trying to get that.
B. It’s just so cynical and disgusting. Really pisses me off. (I don’t want one FWIW).

Don’t let spineless douchebags ruin your day.
They aren’t worth it.

Don’t worry, nobody will buy that. They’re already making the second batch and are quite clear on that.

Yes, it’s sad that CBA and Analog Man probably scrambled obscure hardware shops for years to get enough of them made, just for people to let them sit in a box, speculating for some cash from people who’ve been waiting on their pedal for years. But it’s still far far far easier today to get this pedal rather quick than it ever was, so we still win!

Btw: I’ve borrowed a Gen Loss again to see if it has a place in my setup again. Been running some DN through Onward → Mood → GenLoss and holey moley, can you get broken lofi ambient with character out of these pedals!

Ive been on the fence about selling my GenLoss mk2 ever since I got it, because I can kind of replicate those types of effects using plugins.
But every time I use it, it sounds really really cool and I decide I’m keeping it.

GenLoss is fun because it has a totally different feel, depending on where in the FX chain you set it. I’ve been mixing and matching with different pedals, having GL first and last, and it adds a lot either way
