I really wish it for you :crossed_fingers:

I don’t know what to expect, for there is neither modern CBA pedal that I really need nor that I already own. I’m happy with the Thermae and only residually regretful that I never got a Vinyl Hifi, given that I’ve invested in a Strymon Deco v2. Let’s see what the universe will come up with

I think the only pedal I would be a bit let down a bit is Lossy. Since I already own it. But I’m very keen to have another go at Mood or Blooper.

I was trying to think if there’d be any ā€œlet-downsā€ for me and it’s only a matter of duplicates for me too.

Right now I have Preamp MKII, CXM 1978, Mood MK1 and Lossy boxed up (as I think I plan on selling, but will keep it boxed up to figure out if I want it back).

I’ve owned, but sold off Mood MKII (twice), GenLoss MK2, Bliss Factory, Blooper and Vinyl HiFi.

I don’t think I’d mind getting any of the ones I sold off. They’re all great pedals but were sold mostly to be more productive.

Thermae is probably the one I want the most and Clean as my 2nd most wanted.

This is exactly it, Ive had Mood mkii, blooper and gen loss mkii, but If id get any of those i would be Very happy.

Two Cleans would be something i could fo really cool things with but 2 Lossy’s would be harder. I think,Allthough i could probably do some cool stuff with 2 lossys as Well.

Mine showed up today even though I never got shipping notification, got a preamp mk2, which I already have, but I guess I get some profit out of the deal so that’s something

This one is really something ^^
I have the original one, unmodded.
I wouldn’t mind witnessing first hand how the modifications impact the sound…

Haven’t seen any evidence of Gen Losses appearing yet, but I’d also be more than happy with one

I realised too late how limited the mystery box selection was for Europeans. Would’ve loved a Thermae or a Dark World. All good fun tho

I will swap a Clean for a Habit (which I got in my mystery box but already have). I am in Nagoya.

A Lossy, Habit, Clean chain would be kinda nice. Super simple but with deep changes.

We should have a 3 CBA pedal challenge.

If you have the big bois, Pream MKII & CXM, what would make a perfect 3rd? A creative pedal like Blooper or a finisher like Clean?

I’m actually making a 3 CB pedal board. I already have lossy and Clean and a patchulator patch bay so that I can swap them out in the chain… I think it will be a super fun pedal board, whatever I get!

Thanks for the offer!

I’ll have a think about it.

So far I got offered Gen Loss II & your Habit.
My favorite would be Thermae, but it’s rarer here in JP.

@elxsound I don’t think I’d keep Lossy. It doesn’t seem to be for me.

Well you can set MK II to classic mode so you could probably get rid of the original one. Or do you mean you have the ā€žoriginalā€œ MK II which doesn’t have the bass mod?

@kairos: Pretty sure they’re no longer allowed to sell Thermae or Dark World in the EU, so you would not have gotten those. So probably alright you were too late.

Any delay pedal will work in-between those two.

What’s the reason for obscuring full order numbers?

Thermae is super special, even just as a straight delay. It has some of the lushest repeats outside of an 104M. Sounds like old tape.

CB pedals often feel like multiple devices in one. In fact, I rarely use them as intended.
I keep Gen Loss always on as a stereo saturator, and then use the Model knob for different EQ profiles. The chorus and bit crusher in the OG mode are also great. Usually keep it pretty subtle.

Lossy feels like 7 pedals in one. It’s has one of my favorite reverbs ever—Autechre quadraverb vibes. Can also get into instant Fennesz territory. I could honestly buy another. I’ve filled every preset slot. So many sweet spots.

I actually just bought a second Mood for my Rhodes. I love making it sound as bad as possible, haha. Usually keep the clock down low. Been playing the left side as live effects into the right side lately. Also great for Frippertronics with Fade turned up.

Still learning Clean, but it makes drums sound ridiculous. Especially with dusty on. Subtle modulation is gorgeous, and side-chaining it sounds great. Highly, highly recommend a midi controller to get the most out of them.

Really cool to see all of the Wombtones. Seen several people on YT list it as one of their favorites of 2024.

Understood. Every time I think I’m going to sell mine, I can’t do it. Every time I decide to just keep it, I think I might be better off selling.

The reverb on it is great. The other effects have their place too especially when setting packet size.

I can understand not getting on with this one.

Now, if CBA were to do another collab with Goodhertz, I’d hope they make it Trem Control.

It’s to keep others from stealing your order number. Or why are you so curious about knowing the exact order numbers? Joke aside, for some mysterious (pun intended) reason, almost everybody obscures the two last digits, even over at TGP.

When feeding Thermae’s delay into Deco’s double-tracker, which expands it to the stereo field, the whole thing becomes a great-sounding glue that’s more precise than stereo reverb. This sounds especially nice on lead lines.
