Chase Bliss effects pedals

I got my Lost and Found yesterday. For a wacky room perv like me, this is the ultimate effect. It sounds so good, and much better than I expected based on the youtube videos I’ve seen with synths. I have barely scratched the surface of it’s algorithms, but I find sweet spots everywhere. Can’t wait to explore it’s possibilities with drums and more transient based synth sounds.

Lost+Found is a true gem.
I might actually have 2 of them right now, silly me

It shines with other pedals, but I really invite you to focus on it alone for a while. Besides, it gives different results for guitar, synth, drums or voice ^^
Good exploration!!

my L+F has shipped, can’t wait! wonder if ink edition Bad Moods were shipped in low numbers to EU or something, nothing on that yet despite the launch day purchase - oh well

Agreed, I’m extremely happy with L&F. Have had it the past two days and it makes time disappear. I think it’s going to spark many many songs for me.

Last night I had to get up and stop my cat from potentially demolishing the house. A reverb (can’t remember which one) and tape echo were in full effect with a simple guitar arpeggio that started it all. I think I let them play out and talk to each other for like an hour. I didn’t expect I would have this much fun simply playing the routing toggle, and the knobs can be so incredibly musical as well.

Thanks for hyping L+F again, I’ve put it back in my chain and wanted to give it another chance. Didn’t vibe much with it after I got it because of the controls, but maybe I should have tried harder.

Anyone have experience with a CB pedal not working (100% dry regardless of knob position) in the center manual position but working fine with the presets? My Thermae is going through something :octopus:

when I experience something of this ilk I’d start with resetting all hidden options (flicking preset swtich left 3x if it’s the same on Thermae)

Well, I think you may be on to something - flipping all the dipswitches on/off seems to have solved the problem

An angle for it is trying to find a couple FX that talk together well, e.g. crafting a strange reverb by adding a slight harmonizer before.
Or a pitched delay.
When you’re satisfied, save the preset as a future starting point.

Another nice thing is to get a Disaster Area MIDI Box 4 which opens the MIDI side. Then you can sync to your synth, plock CCs or send them slight LFOs… And these pedals enjoy tweaking, they respond well to modulation.

Received Bad Mood yesterday and finally had the time to put it on my board (The Saturation Station) and had a first go at it.

Initially I’ve been drawn to t MASK in combination with FLIP which was a big surprise cause I went in thinking it would be RADIO and SOUP that I would gravitate towards.

With Mood MKII there were mods which I really didn’t enjoy using and felt frustrated with and I do not have the same feeling with Bad Mood. Not sure if its the pedal itself or me maturing. Still, the honeymoon is off to a great start!

Here’s some :ramen:

Edit: in the second :ramen: I’m using MASK and RELAY

Iam a little bit envy of all of you who got the BM. I was on the fence, and argh but still iam in a NYNG kind of thing. But the BM just seem to offer strange playful things with synth and drums and maybe even vocals. Btw: i would appriciate examples of all of these sound sources through it here. Just to know if i indeed should be watching the used market.

in case you don’t have Instagram: some early Bad Moods had the loudness levels set to “boosted” when they got shipped. There’s an easy fix

edit: oops, just saw this was already addressed above. i’ll leave this anyway

Just finished my little board as well, it doesn’t have as much intention behind it as yours. I think I’ll just call it “The Board of Influence”

Just like L&F the past 2 days, zero regrets with Bad Mood either. I haven’t had sessions this long in a very long time and owe it to these for just how wonderful they are to explore. They’ve even motivated me to figure out how to mic up my amp, which I’ve never done before, to record these sessions.

I am very satisfied with Strymon Iridium, makes it easier to plug my guitar to my system without having to sweat about microphone feedback.

I definitely wouldn’t mind having one of these simpler amp pedals. I have a HX Stomp, but for potentially silly reasons I just haven’t been able to jive with its immense amount of options. I would much prefer something like the Iridium that has its own intentional character for me to become familiar with rather than the endless options in the Stomp where I don’t know when to stop.
