i only watched the first marketing video of CBA, i bought it mainly because i’m a big fan of the Mood mkII

Technically speaking, I don‘t think Soup on it‘s own is louder but the modulation (modify knob) latches on to low-end and mid sounds.
Also, keep in mind that on Bad Mood the microlooper side samples the Wet signal, not your input, as soon as the left side in engaged. So when you have Soup on, then sample something to send it through Soup, you will have two Soups 
If you don‘t want that, either sample while the left side is off, or go straight to overdubbing which listens to the dry signal.

I really really like soup, and I liked instantly. I tried most of CB pedals and I think L&F, BM and Lossy are the pedals I liked the most. I’m exploring right now BM and it’s unbelievable. In a certain way I think that they made L&F and BM has a “small batch” because they are so superior to the other ones… As always this is just my opinion

I’ve gone the whole month thinking Bad Mood isn’t for me: I don’t make shoegaze and I don’t really like pitch shifting effects.
But I worry my mkI and mkII Moods will miss their wayward cousin…

i haven’t got my BM yet but from reading the manual it seems to be a Hidden Option now
(i think that’s the same feature right?)

This switch detemines what is sent to the Wet side, not the looper. It works the same on both pedals.

For the peeps mentioning volume issues. Many guitar minded users reported it being way louder than OG mood/MKII:

Curious if this is the case for Onward as well. I recently put Onward in a fx loop for the first time (no volume control) and realized it outputs way louder when freeze and/or glitch latches.

I just read from joel that this was only implemented on L & F and Bad Mood, and that it wasnt added to the manual in time.

Note for later: if you have a strange behavior like stereo panning is off (my left channel was louder than the right) => check the MISO switch. Mine was on.
