Yes, by changing the pattern!

Yep, with a midi program change.
(Assign the different parts to different patterns)
Once I pushed the limits, controlling parts (pattern changes) with the crossfader, by mapping crossfader CC to program changes with a midi processor. 
I don’t recommend it for mental health reasons ! 
(4 basic 2 step patterns with different parts, fx and settings)

Once again you have blown my mind! So did you map the crossfader so there was 4 zones across the cc values? Like 0-31 is Pattern 1 etc?

Yep.
I didn’t try with longer patterns and chain behaviour to 2 steps.
Anyway I found that it was better and simpler to remap scenes by zones instead of parts.
Allows different samples per zone and much more…can be fun !
(You can see scenes changes at the beginning)
