Is it possible to change octave on A4 keybord?
Let me explain, when i audition the sound or play the keys I´m not able to lower or rise the octave it is locket on the preset octave.
When i Put some trigs on, then the octave thing works
Is that normal?
use the up and down arrows, this originally had me stumped too when i was demoing it in store ! it’s also in the manual

While in the sound browser, up and down don’t work for octave change, though.

this is true and it is slightly unfortunate, I often want to audition a sound over several octaves.

For that matter, I’d like to audition it in the running track.
… isn’t that what the transpose is for, if that’s what you mean (it’s just not done in octaves with the arrows, although you can step in semitones with cursor keys)

Nvm. I was talking/forgetting about the feature [Function]+[Yes/Save] in the Sound Browser. Sooooo many key-combos on this machine… Still learning here.

for the life of me, I cannot get this to work.
While browsing for a sound, hold FUNCTION, and hold YES…?

yep - fn + sound to get into the load track sound menu - scroll about then press(hold) function and then Yes, scroll some more and press yes, then release fn and exit - works for me !

okay… to clarify, this previews the sounds you are scrolling through using the active track sequence, but doesn’t exit the sound menu? well seems my a4 is different

yep - previews the sound in place of the current track sound, the menu is not closed 1) sequenced track running 2) fn+sound then load track sound 3)scroll to desired sound - the highlighted one (of eight on screen) can be (it will be permanent) substituted by holding fn and then pressing yes 4) leave menu when happy
