Chain / Song Mode Vs Pattern

Hi,
To learn the machine the best way I can, I’m doing a project / track from start to finish using only the RYTM. Even I’ve found few threads about it (without any clear answer to me) I was wondering if is it possible to change a pattern with a length of 6/16 after - let’s say - 4 kick which are on a 16 steps track with a trig on every 4 step.

For now, I think the easiest way is to do it manually thanks to DIRECT JUMP but I would love being able to do it thanks to the SEQUENTIAL because with that way I can use chain and playing with the Scene & Perf Mode

Sorry, don’t understand the question.
Can you explain it again differently?

When do you want the pattern to change?

For example every 64 steps but then, the pattern where the polyrythm sequence restart in an odd way.
I’ve found that 24 steps is good but then, it doesnt work well with the structure of the song :slight_smile:
